Install N8ked, Add to Home Screen as App

N8ked AI works as a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can install it on your phone or computer in under a minute, straight from your browser, no APK file, no app store, no third-party downloads. Once installed, N8ked opens full-screen with its own icon, just like a native app.

Why N8ked has no traditional APK

You will not find N8ked on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and we do not publish a downloadable .apk file. The reason is policy, not capability: both stores prohibit AI image-transformation apps in this category, so any app claiming to be an "AI nude APK" is either unrelated, low-quality, or, more often, malware bundled with spyware or stolen-credential trojans.

Instead, N8ked ships as a Progressive Web App. The PWA runs the exact same engine as use.n8ked.app, installs straight from your browser, launches full-screen with its own home-screen icon, and updates automatically. No sideloading, no security warnings, no untrusted sources.

Install on Android (Chrome / Edge / Firefox)

Android has the smoothest PWA experience. Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Firefox all support one-tap install with a real home-screen icon and full-screen launch.

  1. Open https://use.n8ked.app in Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Firefox.
  2. Wait a few seconds for the page to fully load, Chrome may show an "Install app" banner automatically.
  3. If no banner appears, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the browser.
  4. Choose Install app (Chrome / Edge) or Add to Home Screen (Firefox / Brave).
  5. Confirm the install prompt. Android will create a N8ked icon on your home screen.
  6. Tap the icon to launch, N8ked now runs in its own window, no browser chrome.

A note on third-party APKs: if any site offers an "n8ked apk download" or "ai nude apk", treat it as untrusted. We do not distribute APK files anywhere. The only legitimate install path is the PWA flow above.

Install on iPhone / iPad (Safari)

Apple restricts PWA installation to Safari only. Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on iOS are all built on top of WebKit, but only Safari exposes the Add to Home Screen flow. Use Safari for the install, afterwards, the installed app runs in its own container.

  1. Open https://use.n8ked.app in Safari (not Chrome on iOS).
  2. Tap the Share icon in the bottom toolbar (square with an upward arrow).
  3. Scroll down in the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Edit the name if you want, then tap Add in the top-right.
  5. Find the N8ked icon on your home screen and launch it.

iOS PWAs run in a slightly more constrained environment than Android. Push notifications require iOS 16.4 or newer, and the app may occasionally restart from the login screen if the system clears its background state. Core image generation, history, and account features all work identically to the browser version.

Install on Desktop (Chrome / Edge)

On macOS, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS, N8ked installs as a standalone desktop app via Chrome or Edge. The installed window has no tabs and no address bar, it looks and feels like a native application.

  1. Open https://use.n8ked.app in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Look for the install icon on the right side of the address bar (a small monitor with a downward arrow).
  3. Click the icon, or open the browser menu and choose Install N8ked.
  4. Confirm the install dialog. The app gets added to your Applications folder (macOS), Start menu (Windows), or app launcher (Linux / ChromeOS).
  5. Launch N8ked from your dock, taskbar, Launchpad, or Start menu, no browser required.

Firefox on desktop does not currently support PWA installation. If you use Firefox as your main browser, you can still pin use.n8ked.app as a tab, or install it via Chrome or Edge alongside Firefox.

FAQ

Is there an Android APK download for N8ked?
No. N8ked does not distribute an APK file. The official install path is the Progressive Web App flow on this page. Any site offering an "n8ked.apk" download is unaffiliated and should be considered a security risk, sideloaded APKs from unknown sources are a common vector for spyware and credential theft.

Why isn't N8ked on the App Store?
Both Apple's App Store and Google Play prohibit AI image-transformation apps in this category under their content policies. Rather than ship a stripped-down version with the core feature removed, we publish N8ked as a PWA, which gives you the full product, an installable app icon, and full-screen launch without depending on either store.

Does the PWA work offline?
Partially. The app shell, the interface, navigation, and previously viewed pages, loads quickly even on flaky connections. Image generation itself runs on our servers, so you need an internet connection to upload photos and receive results. There is no on-device AI processing.

Will my install update automatically?
Yes. PWAs update silently in the background whenever you open the app online. There is no manual update step, no app store review queue, and no version drift. Whatever is live on use.n8ked.app is what your installed app runs.

Is the PWA the same as use.n8ked.app in browser?
Functionally identical. The PWA loads the same codebase as the browser version, uses the same account, and shares the same credit balance. The only differences are cosmetic: a dedicated app icon, full-screen launch with no browser UI, and faster startup thanks to local caching of the app shell.
