The third stage is texture synthesis. A generative model produces skin textures that match the inferred anatomy, the subject's actual skin tone (sampled from visible regions like face, neck, and hands), and the source photo's lighting characteristics. The synthesized regions then composite with the unmodified parts of the original image, with a final blending pass that smooths boundaries and matches grain.
